GT2 to GT3

    Has anyone made the switch from a GT2 driver to a GT3 driver? I know several that have switched GT3 to GT2. I love the feel of the GT2 and hit it well. It spins too much for me to maximize my efficiency which is too bad because it feel so goo to me. The GT3 felt more boardy to me when I hit it compared to the GT2 I have now, but I am curious if that is something that adapts. Just curious if anyone out there has made the switch.     Out of curiosity - Given you like the feel and sound of the GT2 but feel it spins too much for you, have you considered a different shaft ? I know that during my fittings over the years, the Titleist fitter would often change shafts throughout the fitting because he was not happy with the spin rate.

    I went TSR2 → TSR3 → now GT2, but I tried to self-fit early on and was using the wrong shaft. I had a HZRDUS Blue stiff, and after a proper fitting was put into a Tensei 1K Black X, which completely changed things. My apex came down, spin dropped, and my misses tightened up.

    I’ve learned I’m just not consistent enough to really take advantage of a GT3. GT2 gives me the forgiveness I need, and once the shaft was right, the efficiency issues I had weren’t the head.
