  1. I just got fitted with the new 24* fairway Wood which at fitting seems to meet my expectations in terms of Ball flight and distance . More than likely, I must have had some decent wind in the back cause in play this club ends up being very disappointing. Trajectory so high, I can barely hit it longer than my 5 irons. The intend was to generate height but to that point. I very much regret not trying the 21* which would have probably been the right choice for my swing speed.

    A couple of questions.
Did you hit off of mats?
Did you try the 7W as part of the fitting?
Was the 9W compared to the 5 iron for gapping and your next longest club after the 9W?

You do have the option to lower the loft on the hosel settings, as well, before buying a 7W.

I've had a TSR1 23 fairway since Feb 2024. Currently playing a Diamana 70 x5ct R 40.5" with Surefit setting of D3 and 15g headweight. It also swings well with a Diamana 72S and an 11g headweight. My 5 wood is a TSR2 18 set to A3 with std (9g) headweight 41.5" length and same shaft.

I have a 910F 21 fairway with an Ilima shaft at 41". I play it at B2 and will use it in place of the 5 and 9 woods in a "Sunday" bag.

What shaft weight are you using? The best thing I did 6 years ago was change shaft weights to 70g on my fairways and hybrids. This gives a more penetrating ball flight and a tighter pattern.

Gaston, where was the fitting done? Outside, I'm guessing based on your wind comment. Was the fitter using Trackman? Foresight? These monitors use data points to determine distances based on clubhead speed, ball speed, attack angle, etc. Wind is NOT a factor in determining the numbers for distance. Or were you using range markers for distance? At fittings, the main visual aspect is ball flight as the rest is monitored directly.

did something change on your swing? is the club setup correctly? these are the variables. but for your results to be so vastly different?

Not questioning your post, but questioning your post. This is the 2nd post that I've seen today that was the members first post and the thread was just simply unbelievable. Hopefully, I'm wrong with this comment.
