    I’m from the south central part of Virginia. Located between Danville and Lynchburg.

    I was hoping someone in the group may have been fit in this area. I’m willing to drive as much as 2hrs to make sure I get the proper fitting. Not one who gives me 30 mins of their time and sticks me in a stock head and shaft without trying other options and adjusting weights to optimize the driver and ball flight.

    Anyone from this area recommend a particular fitter or fitting center that they trust to do the job right?

    Short of a trip to Manchester Lane, the best 2 choices are a Titleist Fitter or a Premier site. Going to the Fitting tab, I couldn’t get past a local Fitting event near me, but the nearest outdoor Premier location is the Greensboro Golf Club. You can call them for details. I can’t speak for the in-house fitter but it’s a starting point. Eveni if it is a private club, they usually take outsiders with money.
    Titleist fitters are employed and typically do one day scheduled fittings at area clubs. The scheduling requires a $100 deposit that is applied to a purchase of club(s) from that session. These sessions are scheduled for an hour. Other woods would only be included if there was time after the driver fitting.
