    Anyone else excited about the new mini driver? I have a hard time with the larger drivers but hit my 5 wood spot on. I am anxious to see what you all think about the mini driver???

    Have a fitting scheduled for Monday in Oceanside and looking forward to trying the new GTs as well as the GT280.

    It is definitely a niche product for just some players. The largest niche is long players that can trade distance for accuracy. Not to say it won’t help you. I play with many guys that hit 3 or 5 woods off the tee for accuracy or consistent drives over driver

    If you can get to a Golf Galaxy or similar where you can demo clubs, try one.

    I took out a demo GT280 and love it. I'm getting one. I'm getting it 2 inches short as it a replacement for my 3 wood. I only hit 3 wood off the tee and just not confident with it. GT280 is giving me exactly what I need off the tee on courses where hitting the fairway is paramount.

    Had one for about 8 rounds now.. love the versatility. Mainly use it for some of our shorter holes, that tighten up where driver typically lands, and occasionally off the deck as well. I'm a huge fan! Have a Free Flex FW shaft in it, and love the feel, so good !

    I love mine, more forgiving than the driver (For me), and I can still smash it out there pretty good!

    Been playing it for a month now. It’s such a weapon off the tee. Fairway finder!

    I ordered one from the club, pick it up tomorrow. We do not have the longest course but it is ridiculously tight and in the summer the rough varies from 3-4". I took to using 3wd off the tee for better accuracy but decided getting an extra 25yrds would be nice. Putting it in play Saturday and hope to report back solid results.
