    The best check is to buy from an authorized Titleist shop. Next, buy from someone that can legitimately provide chain of custody back to at least a Titleist dealer. Online selling sites not directly connected to a dealer (I.e. 2nd Swing) are notorious for being a source of counterfeits.

    When done well cosmetically, us hacks can’t tell from pictures.

    A good tip to telling if it is authentic or not is the grip. Easier to spot and feel and fake grip that has been made cheaply. Best to get form in person dealer if available.
