T150 / T250 Combo Set

    Recently got fit into a combo set of the new T-Series irons. T250 in the 4 & 5 irons, T150 6 through PW. First time gaming a combo set. Loving the clubs and the fit so far but just a couple rounds with the new sticks. I was on the fence about the combo set vs. going straight T150 through the set.

    For anyone with a similar combo set up that’s been playing them for a bit longer - Any thoughts / opinions / regrets on going with the combo set versus the full set of T150s?

    Let Trackman be your guide. The T250 should improve/maintain the flight characteristics of your shorter irons. Your fitter must have seen a drop off based on ball speed and spin. An all matched set looks good, but if a T150 4 iron comes in too flat, you’ll have a hard time holding an approach shot

    We can’t tell if that will work for you. It may work for someone else but their head/ball speed and spin characteristics will be their’s, not yours.
