Have a month-old linkslegend carry bag. The spine seems to have either 1) detached from its “holder” at the top and/or bottom of the bag, or 2) broken off like an inch from the top of the bag.
The spine is present and intact, it’s just loose between the layers of fabric. I can spin it or move it up and down inside the fabric.
Anyone familiar with how the spine is constructed in this bag? Is it supposed to be attached to the frame at the top and bottom of the bag? Is there a way for me to “seat” or re-attach the spine back into its proper position? If the spine is indeed broken, has anyone DIY’d a new spine using a wooden dowel?
Just hoping I can get a little help before I have to rip it apart and try to save it. It’s a beautiful bag, but kinda useless without a functional spine. The fabric is so loose that clubs get tangled all the time. I live in Canada, so return/repair from titleist is not an option.
