One of our full-time assistants, Colin Cavanagh, made a Hole in One on Hole 2 of the Williams 9 at Meadow Park Golf Course on Tuesday, May 13th during the 100 Hole Marathon supporting the Tacoma Parks Foundation. Colin took an 8 iron from 93 yards and played a perfect bump and run that took the slope from short left of the green to feed the ball all the way across the green to the back right where it found the bottom of the cup. The event was successful in raising over $2000 for the Tacoma Parks Foundation which supports the Beyond the Bell and Club B after school programs making golf accessible for youth in the area that might not otherwise have access to golf.
