I have been playing golf for 7years now, I never thought the day would come, especially, not on the one groove low 8iron shot. I heard click clack as I was saying, damn it, I bladed it again. It was 157 yards, I should have listened to my gut and hit that 7iron, like swing easy, but I was in a 5 some, and everyone in my group thought it went in, but me. Good thing we had another group in front of us, it was our usual Wednesday game at the Jerome country club, in Jerome Idaho. We had a player (Bruce Harding) in the group in front of us check, at first he said it was in the bunker, but someone hit before me and that was in the bunker, couple more yards of walk up the hill, we got the signal. It’s in boys, the place was electric. holy smokes, I made a hole in one. I repeated that statement throughout the night. Oh my goodness, it finally happened guys, I am quitting golf, I said. Well, it was Wednesday the 10th of September and let’s say, I have played 3 rounds of golf since then hoping that another one goes down. I am over the moon if you can’t tell. I got my flag yesterday, had some of the boys sign it. I was playing a titleist 3 prov1x.
