My best friend & I played a round on August 31 2025 at our local muni BraeBen in Mississauga, Ontario. I wasn’t playing well at all I shot 47 on the front 9. We went in the clubhouse for our usual hotdog after 9 & then proceeded to the par 3 10th hole, always a bit of a wait there as the course starts to back up a bit, the green finally clears & it’s our turn. It was playing 180yrds into a stiff left to right wind with the flag in the back right corner perfect for a righty. I smashed a 5 iron & just watched in amazement as the ball started to rise & then start cutting towards the flag my friend piped up this looks good it’s all over it, the ball lands in perfect line of the pin bounced up released & went in the hole, my friend goes you made it, it went in. I tossed my 5 iron in the air & ran around like Steph Curry high 5ing everyone whata instant rush & an unbelievable experience, then on the 14th hole par 4 I holed out from 130yrds for eagle I was like I’m playing the lottery tonight(didn’t win lol) ended up 47/37/84 wish I could’ve shot a better score I almost gave up after the front 9 little did I know what this round would turn into, when you least expect it that’s when amazing things happen. I was with my best friend when he got his first hole in one 2yrs ago & 2yrs later he’s there for mine… it was perfect !
