My parents were coming into town for a parents weekend event at my University, and decided to play a round with my dad at the main college course in the area. Stepped up on the tee of the 4th hole after seeing my dad put one right in the middle of the green, but it's a pretty difficult hole for me so I just wanted to hit one straight. I did exactly that and pured one right at the flag, but didn't see it come down because of the glare. As we we're approaching the green I expected to see 2 balls, however there was only 1. I jokingly said to my dad that one of us got a hole in one, so I hopped out and looked for the other ball. The absolute last thing on my mind was it being in the hole, but after looking around the green I saw a pitch mark 6 feet before the pin. This was when realization set and I decided to look in the hole. I heart sank and just felt a rush of adrenaline as I simply couldn't believe it.

Long story short, I can say getting a blind hole in one with my dad will be something he and I cherish forever as getting out on these spontaneous rounds of golf with him means everything. Funny enough, I always play my worst rounds of golf with my dad, so having this moment to share with him means the world.
