My 1st hole in one.

I got my first hole in one today, 7-8-26, at Raccoon Valley Golf Course. It was a 121 yard par 3 and I hit a gap wedge. It hit in front of the flag, took one hop and dropped into the hole! It was an unbelievable feeling!

I carded my 4th career hole in one today at Lake Shawnee Golf Course in Topeka, Kansas on hole # 13 which was playing approximately 121 yards with a Cobra 7 iron. I was playing a Pro V1 golf ball. That was my 3rd hole in one on that hole. The other 2 were in 2013 and 2024. My other hole in one was at Lake Shawnee Golf Course on hole # 17 in 1984. My witnesses were Jim Dickson and Ron Revelle.

First Hole-In-One!

I got my first hole in one yesterday in Edmond OK on Oaktree West Course, #6! I used my favorite ball, Titleist Prov1x, grabbed my nine iron for an 86 yard shot, and the rest is history. It was especially fun since my playing partners and I all saw the ball go in the hole…Such a memorable day!

Yesterday at KickingBird Golf Club, I stepped up to a 160-yard par 3 with a pitching wedge in my hands, and a Pro V1 #5 on the tee. I made a smooth swing, watched the ball take off on a perfect line the ball landed softly, took a couple of hops, rolled straight toward the flag... and disappeared. For a second, nobody said a word. Then it hit everyone at once ace! A pitching wedge from 160 yards. A Pro V1 #5. One swing I'll never forget, and a memory that will last a lifetime.

I was playing golf with my brother and dad. My dad lasered the flag at 147 yards. For me, that’s in between a 9i and a 8i. There’s trouble behind the green so I decided to go with a 9 because it’s safer to lay up. My dad goes first and hits an awesome shot. Sticks it about 7 feet from the hole. Now it’s my turn. I have one swing thought and that’s my hip turn on my downswing. I do my pre-shot routine and BOOM. Seriously one of the best shots I’ve ever hit. A slight draw with a beautiful ball flight. I see it roll by my dad’s ball. He goes “that’s going right at it.” Then we both lose sight of it. I thought there was a possibility of it going it considering how great the shot felt but didn’t want to get my hopes up. We get up to the green and there’s only one ball on the green; my dad’s. I start to take out a wedge because I thought I went over. As I’m headed to the green I asked my dad, “can you check in the hole?” He does and sure enough… it’s in! I drop my clubs and we both celebrate! I run up and see that blue Titleist ball in the hole and I couldn’t be happier! Of course we had to take a few photos.

I have been a 2 handicap for about 35 years and, despite playing what I estimate to be around 8,000 par 3's, I have never had a hole in one, although I have hit the flag stick seven times (with 3 of those ricocheting into bunkers). In 2025, playing a tournament at Haggin Oaks in Sacramento, on the 164 yard 14th hole, I hit a 7 iron that landed in the hole and popped out to 3 feet. One year later, on the one year anniversary of my mother's passing, playing the same hole, in the same tournament, with the same club, I had my first hole-in one. I can only guess that my mother sheepishly approached Saint Peter and asked if he would be so kind as to let her son finally have a hole-in one. Thanks mom!

Golf Hole in one

Me and my buddy on a random day of golf. Scrambling to practice for our first tournament together. We get up on the tee box and in my head I’m like it just feels weird. It’s quiet. I have a 7 iron from 163, I swing looks really good and my friend was like Ryan it might go in. I said no way, 1 hop then 2 then rolled in bam! Screaming and celebrating and it was an awesome moment with my friend I’ve known for 15 years !

I got my first hole in one on 7/3/2026 at Old Tappan GC on the 6th hole. I’ve been a member for 27 years. The hole was playing 110 yards and up hill and I saw it hit the flag stick along with my playing partners. I used a Titleist 714 AP 2 Gap wedge and a Titleist Pro V1x golf ball.

Better the second time

Got my first hole in one in 2008 in Las Vegas. The sun was coming up do didn't get to see my ball go dark. Still great to see it in the bottom of the cup but didn't see it go in. The one today was at the pin the whole way and I got to see it disappear into the bottom of the cup.

What a thrill to use my new Titleist trufeel covered in my Liverpool logo to get my third hole in one. I hit a stunning 8 iron into the green which is surround by water and just watched my ball land on the green and just roll into the hole. It was a thrill one I will never forget - especially as in the previous hole I lost my drive and made an 8!!!!! Never give up and also I won the nett club championships so it was all in all a very very good day!

Playing one of my first rounds of the year, my clubs are falling apart I am missing my 8i, 7i, 4i, and pw. Taking my mom on her first round ever. I am playing pretty good, par or bogeying most holes. On 8, a high tee box onto a green with the flag behind and on top of a little hill. I hit a soft 9i and it goes dead straight at the hole, my mom goes what if that goes in, I scoffed but then it bounced on the edge of the green, bounced over the hole, and then rolled back into the hole. I was speechless and my little brother was not happy as he was not having a great round so far.

So glad I was able to experience my first hole in 1 with my mom and brother, and someone was even there to see it lol.

Albatross Uphill with the Wind

On a short 301 yd par 4, the wind was down and I hit my mini GT280, perfect little draw but lost it in the sunshine. Got up there and couldn’t find it, finally went to check the hole and the red 4 from the x I was playing was looking up at me. First hole in one!

We were playing in a 4som - all four of us stuck the green. But it wasn’t elevated green and a blind pin. When we got up there, we only saw three balls On The Green. Mine was in the cup.

Par 3, 175 yards, using a 7 iron. My witness, Roger, thought it went in and I thought it went long. Was low light and I have bad eyes. Got up there and before I went to search for I checked the hole and lo and behold there was my Titleist Pro V1 number 3 laying in the bottom of the cup. Pine island golf course in pine island, MN!!

On Sunday, July 5th, 2026, I stepped up to hole #3 at Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, PA with my uncle who belongs there and my sister’s boyfriend. I went third and pulled out my 9 iron for a 125 yard shot. The swing and contact could not have felt any better, the ball flight started a little left of the pin before gradually making its way in the air to a foot or two to the right of the pin, then all of a sudden we couldn’t see the ball. We each looked at each other in confusion - “Did that just go in?!?!?”. We raced up to the green, I jumped out of my cart before my sister’s boyfriend could even hit the brakes, and the ball was smiling back at me from inside the hole.

Made my first hole in one on June 27 2026 at Maple Chase Golf and Country Club in Winston Salem North Carolina. 153 yard Pitching Wedge landed pin high, bounced, caught a hill, spun into the cup.

I made my first hole and one on americas 250th birthday and I couldn’t be any happier. It was an uphill par 3 at tapawingo national golf club in St. Louis. The par 3 was on the 2nd hole of the prairies nine. I was 120 out and hit a know down p wedge it landed on the down slope about 5 yards behind the cub and spun back in. When we got up to the green we thought it was long at first then we checked the hole and there it was. The prov1 43 that I was using. Super cool.

Friday July 3, 2026 was a day I will never forget. I was already having a good round with a couple of my best buddies, my daughter and her husband and my 3 grandsons who were riding with me. It was hole # 17 at Yuba Golf Club in Marysville Ca.(formerly Peach Tree Golf and Country club). It was 164 yards and I used a 7 iron. I have used Titleist PRO V 1 Yellow balls for a couple years now. In the photo below the shadows that you see are me, my 6 year old grandson with the crocs on and my 7 year old grandson. It was so cool that they got to see their papa and his buddies jump around like a few grade school girls once the ball finished in the hole for my first ever Hole in One. Thank you Titleist PRO V 1
