Time to register for the 2025 Masters. Feels a little futile, but unlike the Powerball drawings, I don’t have to pay to lose, ….again Hope springs eternal.

Going too have more fun watching it on the big screen in my brand new lazy boy, seeing as much golf as I can humanly stand.

Last time we went was 1994. We use to go every year, was a tradition. The lottery started the next year. Have been entering every year. Nada. Not this year. Have better luck winning the big lottery and I do not waste my money on it.

The Players at Sawgrass is tops on my list! If The Players now counts as a "major", I would then pivot and say that the ATT at Pebble Beach is the best non-major - love that the amateurs get out there and compete!

Recommend playing Osprey and Turtle Point. Also try Charleston Municipal, if you can get a tee time. #19 rated muni in the US by golf.com. Seth Raynor style. Number of holes taken from Yeamans Hall and Country Club of Charleston. Trey Miller redesigned course in 2019. Not your typical muni. In good shape and greens are awesome. Some say unfair. I play there every week, l love it. Test of your skills. Ocean Course is tamer since the Ryder Cup in 1991. You have to stay focused, play appropriate tees and not let the wind out play you. Most want to play the championship tees. Do not advise, play it to have fun, otherwise you will not. Have played it many many times. My best score 77, my worst 102 on a very windy day. Watch out for the gators on number 10. They are big and very very fast.

Korn Ferry Monday Qualifiers are a good way to gauge your game. Sign up for one and be ready to shoot a mid to low 60s score on a course you have never played. If you can do that, you have maybe a 1% shot to get further.

He has had putting problems for most of his career --- short stick or long stick, blade or mallet head, normal grip or oversized grip --- nothing seems to work for him. Even so, he's a terrific player --- but he just can't seem to find a way to screw the ball into the hole from 4-8 feet.

It absolutely blows my mind that Adam Scott struggles with his putting. He was 147th in putting the first two days this week, with SIX 3-putts. Three of those were from inside 5ft, hard to score with stats like that. I've a been a huge fan of since day one and that will not change, but it is extremely frustrating to watch!
