The latest release in conjunction with the US Open at Shinnecock was very well received and had a cool dancing vibe with the sail boats etc on the headcover, offered in both regular blade and mallet style. Sold out very quickly and is selling for a premium on the secondary market.

I don't think the stock headcovers are "poor", I just think the periodical custom headcovers are the best in the industry. I'm a Cameron Club member and love the annual head covers. Every now and then I get one of the "new arrival" offerings on Scotty's online shop, but you have to be quick, as they sell out fast.

I stay away from e-bay as the mark ups are usually egregious.

I don't have any stock covers, but the Club covers are pretty good (and yes, I do have another rack on order).

  6. I do not mind the covers with the one big exception, I hate the Velcro. I wish it was magnetic like everyone else. Other than that they are pretty nice.

I use an insert from a company called Mag'd. Attaches easily to the velcro and adds an easy magnetic closure, and it's easy to move from cover to cover, and it's like $20.

I have seen covers where the magnet rubs and breaks through the material and scratches the putter. Not taking a chance of that happening!
