Walking vs Riding

    Does anyone else feel like they play better walking versus riding in a cart? Walking seems to get me more focused on the shot at hand rather than riding. Thoughts?

    It depends on the course for me. I play a few hilly courses and walking them can wear you out. On a flatter course I usually play a little better walking it because I feel like my body stays loose because I'm always in motion. I usually only get to walk if I play by myself. All of the people I play with will not walk.

    I prefer to walk but at my age and with all my old injuries, it's tough to go 18 sometimes. Typically I will always choose to be the passenger when using a cart so I can get out and walk a bit. Surprisingly it is also quicker pace of play.
