Having just purchase a new set of T250 irons I am wondering if people think iron covers will help keep them as new and protect them from damage?

I have been using a brand called face saver plus. It is pretty good. One caution is that the red clips that holds on to the hosel can break if stepped on or handled roughly. All in all, I don't think I'll switch to another brand. Been great on my last 2 sets.

Protecting something youre going to intentionally drive into Mother Earth... Id say maybe during transit or travel, but a well-wrapped towel will do the trick!

I personally don't like iron covers. They slow down play even more and can cause more harm than good to your weapons. They trap moisture and dirt. Besides, you'll get made fun of.

Irons are tools and made to be used. Any dings or chatter marks just show the love of the game. Keep them uncovered and show the use.

I only use iron covers when I travel with my clubs.

I use iron covers and they keep my irons looking great. I like looking down at a pristine iron. It's all a matter of what you like and dislike. My issue is that I keep losing them.
I'm going to try your suggestion of face saver plus

Hey JD, I was fitted with a set of the new T150's a few months ago and I picked these covers up from Amazon. They work great and have kept my irons from dings and club chatter!

I started using iron covers last year when I got my new T350's. Never used them before but I like them. Got them from Amazon. My old irons and wedges had a ton of little dents all over them from bouncing around in the cart. New ones no dents at all with over a year's use. It also doesn't take that much longer to put on or take off.
  10. I have been impressed with these covers from Layover - layoverandco.com/.../premium-leather-golf-iron-cover - not cheap but excellent quality. The magnetic closure makes sure that the covers stay on the club. Enjoy the new sticks.

I don't think you need iron covers for the T250. I used iron covers for my 2021 T200's to protect the back plate, but, the T250 seem to hold up well.

I would use iron covers for travel, though. Just be sure to wash and dry them before going through TSA.
