  1. I had signed up for an event before which i had to cancel due to injuries, looking forward to 2026 events as im better now but this had me thinking.

I personally dont have a full titleist set.

Titleist wood, hybrid and vokeys but miz irons, cally driver and bettinardi putter.

This sounds like a dumb question but would that be allowed? Is this frowned upon?

Part of me thinks “everyone here is so cool, theyd totally be ok with it.” And the other part of me thinks “theyll say its ok but i shouldve known better”

    So.

    Is it ok??

  2. Game what you game, I don't think anyone would care if you have multiple brands. There are guys on tour that sponsored by Titleist that are not playing 100% Titleist clubs. I wouldn't play a TP5 for your ball however :)

Most that attend are Titleist loyalists, but come enjoy yourself and have a good time. Hakuna matata. Most do not complete their profile 100% in that they keep their equipment private on their profile. I post mine with pride.

No requirement to be 100%. No pressure to do so. A cap and a ball.shows some interest. It is worthwhile completing your profile. .on occassion i’ve seen 100% non Titleist bags. Not sure why they showed up. More the exception than the rule.
  5. It's definitely okay. I'm been to a bunch of the events and I definitely don't have a full Titleist bag.

I've played with a few of the Team Titleist employees and short of some light ribbing it was no big deal at all.

That being said, the bag is slowly heading in the full Titleist direction . Hard not to be convinced when you get the full story and experience at these events.

We see some mixed sets at events, especially for first timers and smaller, single day outings. You might get the occasional light-hearted ribbing but it’s pretty common to see people get the opportunity to test new equipment at events and over time, migrate to a full set or mostly full set. Some of the die-hard members are all Titleist and FootJoy but because we love the brand, not because we felt pressured to conform. Come and enjoy the events and people, you will have a blast.

I have never had anyone at an event say anything to me about what clubs were in my bag. Play whatever works for you and enjoy the day with a great group of people.

I'm all Titleist/ FJ with the exception of my Irons. I play the png 440 Irons with the Alta Quick 35 gram shaft. I'm 72 years old with a driver swing speed of 80-85 mph. This past July, I went to an Iron fitting for T-350's with Adam Lash at West Palm Beach, who does all my Titleist fittings. The lightest shaft available is the KBH 55 Max, 20 grams heavier, thus I was hitting the T-350 almost a club shorter than the 440's. Adam said to me that I should stay with the 440's, as he in good conscience wouldn't sell me a club that I was getting a lesser result with. My question to Titleist is if you make a 40 gram Air Speeder shaft for my GT 1 Driver and Fairways, which I have and love, then why isn't the shaft available in Irons? The Alta Quick 35 shaft in available for every club that png makes, from the Driver thru the Wedges.

Kyu - sorry you couldn't make our TT Orange County '25 outing. Like others, I've been to many events where participants haven't been playing a full bag of Titleist - it's perfectly ok.

The common thing I've noticed however, is we all enjoy the brand (Acushnet=Titleist/Vokey/Cameron/Footjoy) and appreciate the energy that comes by sharing that with others. Events are a great way to meet new people and hopefully build friendships that will last going forward.
Hope to see you at a future event, especially TT OC 2026.

    Enjoy the journey!

"Is it allowed"...sure is. I've been to different TT events (one day and multi day) and I've seen "other brands" roaming around. What I enjoy about TT events is meeting all the members and connecting with people behind the brand; they give you product insights and you might even make the switch.
