Blind fittings at courses

Does anyone have any experience/know if Titleist fitters, when doing a fitting event at a course, will do the blind wedge fitting like they do at a normal fitting? Would love to do one as I enjoyed my woods and irons fitting so much and worked out so well. Just can't justify the 8 hour round trip just for a wedge fitting. Maybe if they did Scotty fittings I could make it work lol.

I went to a SM10 wedge fitting before I purchased my currently setup of a 52-F8 and 56-S10. Would it be ok to go the with same setup with SM11 wedges without going to another fitting?

Oil Can 58.04T in the bunkers

I have recently purchased a nice SM 10 Oil Can 58.04T grind and I love it around the greens (tight lies especially) but I'm experiencing difficulties in the bunkers. I feel like the club digs too much in the sand (lack of bounce obviously) and that my shots end up being too short (too much sand taken). I used to have a 58 soft K grind (06 bounce) and it worked fine in the sand (at least at my level... I'm a 5 handicap) Should I change something in my approach (less open face) ? Has anyone else experienced this problem as well ? Is this grind not made for (powdery) bunkers at all ? Thanks for your insight !

SM10 46f Black Vapor

I saw a picture of a 46 black vapor. Not sure if it was real or a custom version. I’ve never seen the 46 as an option for the blacked out wedges. Any thoughts?

My First "Custom" Wedge

Afternoon TT Folks - super excited as i have previously purchased off the rack however my first "custom" or built to my preferences wedge is in transit, ordered an SM11 54 in raw finish...added the flight lines to give them a try.

Understanding there are several previous threads on the Raw finish topic and many opinions out there, my preference would be to let the face/grooves weather naturally but keep the back of the wedge looking clean.

Wanted to poll the TT group for any suggestions/opinions of an oil or really any material to keep the back looking relatively or rust free.

When to replace your wedges?

I played 65rounds of golf last year, I rock a 52 and 58 wedge not counting a PW GW. I've notice the spin dropping off on my 52 according to trackman im averaging about 7087 of spin. Should I replace that wedge?

Everyone .Happy New Year. Has anyone played the Vokey A+ grind? I currently play a 60 m grind. Thinking of a new bunker club and the A+ looks intriguing.

I know the best way to choose is to get fitted but am curious if anyone has any thoughts

recently purchased 54' and 58' vokey wedges, to compliment the standard T-300 irons. I get these clubs well, but wondering if the gap between the 48 and the 54 is little too much. Any, all opinions are appreciated.

I could use your input regarding wedge grooves.

I currently play 5-7 rounds per week, 300 rounds per year, and am a GHIN 0.0.

I regularly clean my wedge grooves during play. However, I’ve been wondering about wedge “groove sharpening.” Here’s where I could use your input.

1. Do you “sharpen” your wedge grooves? 2. If so, have you found this task to be beneficial to your wedge play and overall game? 3. How often do you sharpen your wedge grooves? 4. What tool (s) do you use? 5. What tool (s) would you recommend?

62 Degree F grind

i play 5 wedges in my bag with 4 degree gaps. i got lots of full shots even down into 62 degree which i have had a lot of success with. However i would like to get more of an iron turf interaction and there is no F grind at 62. is there any way i could order a wedge with that grind and loft?

64T Limited Edition Vokey

Is anyone planning on obtaining the new 64T Vokey wedge in the black finish? As an owner of the 64T in slate blue, I couldn't help but purchase this new beauty.

For those who are planning on getting one, what is the reasoning? For me, it fits my loft (47,52,58,64), distance gaps, and bounce profiles (52-08F, 58-12D, and 64-04T). Not to mention, I am already comfortable hitting the 64 (bagged 64 degrees predating the SM4 era).

While working with an instructor I’ve held off on updating wedges. I have a collection of 8’s and 9’s. The groves are not beyond their use date. I was planning on SM11’s. We had worked out the specs for my next set. Now that there is a reduced price on 10’s - should I wait or should I go?

Shorter Distance with New Wedges

I recently bought two SM10. 56 and 60. I am getting less 10 to 15m distance compared to my previous very old wedges. I am a newbie. I hit 65m with my old 56 and now getting 50m. Is this normal?
